What is Xetrion Lock Manager?

If two or more users or agents edit/update the same document in a Lotus Domino database at the same time a save or replication conflict occurs, i.e. Lotus Domino stores two copies of this document in the database. Lotus Domino/Notes Release 4.x and 5.x do not have the native ability to lock documents to prevent such conflicts and data inconsistency. Lotus Domino/Notes 6 introduces a new built-in document locking feature, but for Notes clients only.
